About the Journal

Lintas Ilmu: Jurnal Riset Multidisiplin is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Kuras Institute in Metro, Lampung, Indonesia. Lintas ilmu means "across disciplines", and that is the editorial brief. We publish original research and reviews whose questions, methods, or consequences reach beyond a single field.

Plenty of useful studies fall between journals. A study of flood-prone villages may need hydrology, household economics, and local governance at the same time. A classroom trial of an AI tutor raises questions for pedagogy, psychology, and data protection. Specialist journals often turn such papers away because they only half fit the field. Lintas Ilmu reviews that work on its merits.

Who we publish for

Researchers, lecturers, graduate students, and practitioners in Indonesia and beyond who want findings they can use outside their own specialism. We ask authors to write so that a careful reader from a neighbouring discipline can follow the argument without a glossary.
