As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The manuscript fits the journal's Focus and Scope. It has not been published before and is not under consideration by another journal (or an explanation has been given in Comments for the Editor).
The manuscript uses the Lintas Ilmu template and follows the Author Guidelines, including APA 7th edition references.
The review file is anonymized: author names, affiliations, acknowledgments, and file properties have been removed.
A separate title page lists all authors with affiliations, ORCID iDs, and the corresponding author's email.
The abstract has 150–250 words in English (plus an Indonesian abstract for manuscripts written in Indonesian), followed by three to six keywords.
DOIs or URLs are given for references wherever available.
Ethics approval, funding, conflicts of interest, data availability, and any use of generative AI are declared.
All authors have read the Article Processing Charge policy and understand that the charge applies only after acceptance.
Author Guidelines
Please read these guidelines before preparing your manuscript. Manuscripts that do not follow them are returned before review. Download the article template: [[template link]].
Make sure the work is original, has not been published before, and is not under review elsewhere.
Make sure all authors have approved the submission.
Language
Manuscripts may be written in English or Indonesian. Every manuscript needs an English abstract; manuscripts in Indonesian include an Indonesian abstract as well. Please have the English checked by a proficient speaker or a professional editor before you submit.
Length and format
Research articles: 4,000–8,000 words. Review articles: 6,000–9,000 words. Both counts include references.
Microsoft Word (.docx), prepared in the journal template, which sets the fonts, spacing, and headings.
Tables and figures placed in the text close to where they are first mentioned, numbered in order, with a title and a source. Tables should be editable text, not images. Figures should be at least 300 dpi.
Structure of a research article
Title. Specific and informative, no more than 20 words, without abbreviations.
Authors. Full names without academic titles, affiliations (department, institution, city, country), ORCID iDs, and the corresponding author's email. These go on the title page only, not in the anonymized manuscript.
Abstract. One paragraph of 150–250 words covering the problem, the purpose, the method, the main findings, and the contribution. No citations.
Keywords. Three to six terms that are not already in the title.
Introduction. The problem and why it matters, a focused review of previous studies, the gap this study fills, and the research question or aim. Explain why the question needs more than one discipline.
Method. Research design, setting, participants or data sources, instruments, procedures, and analysis, in enough detail for someone else to repeat the study. Include ethics approval and consent where relevant.
Results. The findings, with tables and figures where they help. Do not present the same data twice in text and tables.
Discussion. What the results mean, how they compare with earlier studies, the limitations, and the implications for practice, policy, or other fields.
Conclusion. A short answer to the research question and suggestions for further research, with no new data.
Declarations. Acknowledgments, funding, author contributions (using the CRediT roles), conflicts of interest, data availability, and any use of generative AI.
References.
Review articles may use a different structure, but they must explain how sources were searched, selected, and analysed. Systematic and scoping reviews should follow PRISMA or PRISMA-ScR.
Citations and references
Use APA style, 7th edition, for in-text citations and the reference list.
Manage references with Mendeley, Zotero, or a similar tool.
Research articles should cite at least 25 sources and review articles at least 50, most of them journal articles published in the last ten years.
Give the DOI for every reference that has one, in the form https://doi.org/…
Cite only works you have read. Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list, and every entry in the list must be cited in the text.
